Join Joel Nadler, author of Abandoned New Jersey: Forgotten Spaces of the Garden State as he shares photographs and stories from his explorations of lost places as well as his interest in historic preservation and what inspired his book’s 150 images. Copies of the book will be available for sale.
Nadler is a photographer from Metuchen, NJ who studied photography at the Glasgow School of Art and historic preservation at Goucher College, creating a foundation for his interest in abandoned structures.
Registration is required. This is an on-site, in-person program. Masks are recommended for library visitors, but they are not required. In-person programming capacity is limited and the Community Room will be set up for proper social distancing. The 36,018 square foot Demott Lane Branch is located in the Franklin Township municipal complex and provides a large community room for library programming, as well as additional meeting room space for community groups, study rooms, public access computers, and more.
