We encourage you to discover a great adventure story! We will be talking about and doing activities based on the book, "I Survived The Battle of Gettysburg, 1863" by Lauren Tarshis. This short chapter book makes for a quick read! It is a historical fiction kids novel about a young boy caught up in the action of the Civil War.
The wildly popular I Survived series by Lauren Tarshis features children who survive many different historical events, including the sinking of the Titanic, the Great Chicago Fire and the shark attacks of 1916.
