Cookbook Club: Your Favorite Recipe

Choose a favorite recipe from one of your favorite cookbooks to prepare and share

Attend the first meeting of our new Cookbook Club, a book club for readers who enjoy spending time in the kitchen! For this meeting, we're keeping the theme vague: choose a favorite recipe from one of your favorite cookbooks to prepare and share. At the meeting, we will discuss the cookbooks, dishes, cooking techniques, and sample each other's dishes!

The library will supply plates, bowls, utensils, and water. Bring one regular size portion of your dish (no need to double the recipe/etc.). If your dish requires any special serving tools or equipment, please provide them. We cannot warm up foods in the library, so bring your dish ready to serve. 

Please bring a copy of the recipe including a list of ingredients.

Registration is required as space is limited. 

Food served at this program will be prepared in home kitchens. Participation in programs involving food is at your own risk; the Franklin Township Public Library cannot guarantee that food served at this program has not come into contact with tree nuts, soy, or any other allergens. Accordingly, the Library will not be liable for such harm to any individual resulting from such allergens. The library/participants will provide a copy of each recipe with the list of ingredients for each dish.
