Psychosocial Interventions for older adults with serious mental illness, and their families and friends
Adults who are 65 and older with severe mental illness have higher rates of comorbid medical conditions and are less likely to obtain quality health care or experience improvements in mental health outcomes. All are welcome to this support group that will discuss psychosocial interventions for older adults with serious mental illness. The group is appropriate for adults dealing with mental illness, and/or their families and friends.
This is an in-person program. Registration is appreciated, but walk-ins are welcome as long as there is space.
The 36,018 square foot Demott Lane Branch is located in the Franklin Township municipal complex and provides a large community room for library programming, as well as additional meeting room space for community groups, study rooms, public access computers, and more.
