We will brainstorm the symbols of peace we are familiar with, listen to and discuss a short story, and decorate squares to display them on a cardboard "quilt."

Join us to celebrate International Day of Peace and create a decorative Peace "quilt" that will be displayed at the library. We will brainstorm the symbols of peace we are familiar with, listen to and discuss a short story, and decorate squares to display them on a cardboard "quilt." This program about Peace, designed for all ages to create meaningful dialogue and creative expression across generations.

Presented by Dr. Maria Santiago, a learning disabilities consultant and peace ambassador for the Women Federation for World Peace International. She has been in education for 25+ years and has worked in various non-profit organizations as an advocate for peace, the environment, and education.
