Bring your own book to read in a quiet, communal setting!
Do you wish you had more time to read? Don't want the pressure of a traditionally-structured book club? Silent Book Club is perfect for you! Once a month at our Silent Book Club, we'll meet to read together, silently, for an hour. There will be optional socializing periods before and after the reading period, so you can meet other readers and share book suggestions. Or you can spend that time getting more pages in if you'd prefer.
As opposed to a regular book club, at Silent Book Club everyone reads what they want and there is no pressure to have a structured discussion, so be sure to bring a book or pick one up from our shelves beforehand.
Schedule:
6:15-6:30: Optional socializing time
6:30-7:30: Silent reading time
