Hear from Joe Pompeo, author of a new non-fiction book about the Hall-Mills murders
Joe Pompeo, author of Blood and Ink: The Scandalous Jazz Age Double Murder That Hooked America on True Crime, will share information from his book and about his process in writing it. His book centers on the Hall-Mills murders, which occurred 100 years ago in Franklin Township.

Joe Pompeo is a correspondent at Vanity Fair who previously worked at publications including Politico and The New York Observer. He has also written for The New York Times, The New Yorker, New York, Bloomberg Businessweek, Columbia Journalism Review, and many other outlets.
Registration is required, but walk-ins will be welcome if there is enough space. This is an on-site, in-person program. Masks are recommended for library visitors, but they are not required. The 36,018 square foot Demott Lane Branch is located in the Franklin Township municipal complex and provides a large community room for library programming, as well as additional meeting room space for community groups, study rooms, public access computers, and more.
