The Alzheimer's Association's educational programs are built upon four key components--education, guidance, empowerment, and recognition--and are devoted to helping constituents: improve their understanding of dementia and its impact on individual, family unit, and society; increase tools for delivering quality care to those affected; build stronger ties to agency and community resources; and enhance and empower the caregiver journey. The Alzheimer's Association leads the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
