Sometimes called "chess on ice," curling is a winter sport where players slide granite stones across the ice, toward targets, and other players sweep the ice with curling brooms to try and influence where the stone will stop. Whether you're a curious spectator or interested in getting on the ice yourself, this program will be the perfect introduction to the sport!

The Plainfield Curling Club is New Jersey’s original curling club and only dedicated curling facility. The home of good people, good times, good curling, Plainfield Curling Club is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization committed to fostering the sport and spirit of curling.
The 36,018 square foot Demott Lane Branch is located in the Franklin Township municipal complex and provides a large community room for library programming, as well as additional meeting room space for community groups, study rooms, public access computers, and more.
