Meet local authors and buy signed copies of their books!
Event description and author list coming soon! In the meantime, we are still seeking local authors for the event:
The Franklin Township Public Library is seeking local authors for a book fair held on the afternoon of Saturday, November 9, 2024. The fair will create space for local authors to promote their work, meet other writers, interact with community members and readers, and have the opportunity to sell and sign copies of their books. The event will be free for all participants and attendees.
Authors who have either traditionally or self-published books for adults, teens, or children in any genre are eligible to apply. Due to space constraints and response received, the library regretfully will be unable to accept everyone who applies. Preference will be given to authors who currently or formerly live/work/attend school in Franklin Township or the surrounding area. Additional selection criteria may include publication quality, level of professionalism, artistic merit, local interest, and publication date. E‐book authors who do not have printed copies of their book to sell are not eligible to participate.
The application to apply can be found here. The deadline to apply is Friday, October 4. Applicants will be notified of their status by Friday, October 11. Please contact us with any questions.
